Welcome

Wondering what exactly a home inspection is, and what it entails? A home inspection is a limited, non-invasive, visual examination of a home, often in conjunction with the sale of that home. The inspection is designed to identify material defects within the dwelling, and provide documentation of those through a written report, checklist, photograph, environmental report, etc., thus allowing both the buyer and the seller to make more informed decisions regarding the property.

While this task may seem stressful and somewhat daunting, most of the issues identified in the inspection will be maintenance recommendations, life expectancies and minor imperfections. However, there are issues that matter significantly, and these will fall into the following four categories:

MAJOR DEFECT

MINOR DEFECTS

SAFETY HAZARDS

FINANCIAL, LEGAL, AND INSURANCE CONCERNS

Whether buying or selling a home, it is absolutely essential to utilize the services of a home inspector who is certified by the International Association of Certified Home Inspectors (InterNACHI). This is utterly important because of InterNACHI’s stringent qualifications which ensure all inspectors are up to par with their standards, ethics, and education requirements, and able to readily identify major issues such as those listed above. As such, we’ve worked hard to become members of InterNACHI, and our promise to you is that we will provide you with exceptional service as we inspect your home or condo.
