Wondering what exactly a home inspection is, and what it entails? A home inspection is a limited, non-invasive, visual examination of a home, often in conjunction with the sale of that home. The inspection is designed to identify material defects within the dwelling, and provide documentation of those through a written report, checklist, photograph, environmental report, etc., thus allowing both the buyer and the seller to make more informed decisions regarding the property.
